The unusual wintertime rise in gasoline prices continued last week, given an additional turbo boost by unrest in Egypt.
The average retail gas price in Sacramento rose 3 cents to $3.35 a gallon over the past week, according to the weekly report released Monday by SactoGasPrices.com, a GasBuddy.com website.
The local price was 49.2 cents per gallon higher than it was one year ago and 8.1 cents higher than last month.
