Gasoline prices continue their steady climb that began at the dawn of December, but some temporary relief may be on the way.
The average retail gas price in Sacramento rose 1.6 cents to $3.32 a gallon over the past week, according to the weekly report released Monday by SactoGasPrices.com, a GasBuddy.com website.
The local price was 36.9 cents per gallon higher than it was one year ago and 8.4 cents higher than last month.
