Gasoline prices continued their holiday season climb last week, but analysts saw some signs of market stability on Monday.
The average retail price of gas in the Sacramento area rose 6.4 cents to $3.22 per gallon over the past week, according to Monday's weekly report by SactoGasPrices.com, a GasBuddy.com website. The increase came a week after a spike of 7.3 cents.
